Seismicity of Kuwait

Abstract This chapter deals with all the precious documented recently published and unpublished studies that address seismic situation earthquakes in State of Kuwait. Kuwait is geographically geologically situated northeastern part Arabian Peninsula. In addition to being close famous Zagros belt earthquakes, local sources inside make it always vulnerable earthquakes. We will review instrumental historical records National Seismic Network, including Data acquisition, data analysis, analysis. also highlight recent conducted region. The induced seismicity, affecting Kuwait, as well determining types faults using focal mechanism technique, specifying crustal models ground motion attenuation are reviewed.
